(Washington, D.C.) Congressman Alcee L. Hastings (D-FL), along with Representatives Eliot Engel, John Lewis, Lois Frankel, Frederica Wilson, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Ted Deutch, Nita Lowey, Alan Lowenthal, Lee Zeldin & Mia Love will host an important breakfast for Black and Jewish Members of Congress
on Thursday, June 25th at 8:30 AM in room HVC-200 of the Capitol Visitors Center. The breakfast will address the history of Black and Jewish relations, as well as how to increase engagement between these two communities.
Special guests at the event will include Rabbi Marc Schneier of The Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, Rabbi Ari Sunshine of B’Nai Shalom Congregation, Reverend Robyn Franklin-Vaughn of the Howard University School of Divinity, and student leaders from Operation Understanding D.C.
