**MEDIA ADVISORY** Hastings to Host Congressional Briefing on Ending the Yulin Dog Meat Festival and the Global Dog Meat Trade

Congressman Alcee L. Hastings (D-FL) will host a Congressional briefing on ending the Yulin Dog Meat Festival and the global dog meat trade. Earlier this year, Hastings introduced H.Res.752, a bipartisan resolution, which condemns the festival and urges China to end the dog meat trade

The briefing will take place on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 8:30 AM in the Congressional Auditorium (CVC-200) of the United States Capitol Visitors Center. The event is open to the public.  The distinguished panel will include:
