“I am honored to join my colleagues in the Florida delegation in recognizing Keiser University on its 40th anniversary,” said Hastings. “Keiser University was founded in 1977 by Dr. Arthur Keiser and his mother, Ms. Evelyn Keiser, in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Keiser and Evelyn sought to provide individuals the necessary educational tools for successfully navigating their chosen careers, and designed their school to serve adult learners. They have far exceeded this goal, and today, Keiser University is the third largest not-for-profit university in Florida, offering more than 100 degree granting programs across 18 campuses and online. It gives me great pride to wish Dr. Arthur Keiser, his mother Evelyn, Ms. Belinda Keiser, and the Board of Trustees many more years of continued success.”
“Congratulations to Keiser University on its 40th anniversary,” Buchanan said. “The commitment and dedication to provide a quality education to Floridians and others around the world is truly remarkable. Equally impressive is the institution’s positive economic impact on Florida and its support for non-traditional students as the state’s third largest not-for-profit university.”
Congressman Alcee L. Hastings serves as Senior Member of the House Rules Committee, Ranking Democratic Member of the U.S. Helsinki Commission, and Co-Chairman of the Florida Delegation.
